The play takes place on the earth 6, 500,000 years ago, after the extinction of dinosaurs. Birds, the descendants of dinosaurs, who dominate, fly freely in the clean and clear sky. Phoenix, the Queen of birds, who values nature, always tries her best to help birds adjust themselves to nature and live in perfect harmony with nature.
However, Nine The Bird, her beloved, incited by Crow, tries to make sue of some evil extrinsic energy, with the help of principle of science and technology, to strengthen themselves and change their life style gradually. He succeeds in acquiring the magic power, whereupon more and more catabolic birds come into being. They rebuild nature as they wish to, which makes the forest purgatory, no longer a wonderland. Pheonix's objection has become an obstacle to their love (her love with Nine The Bird). Peahen takes the opportunity to beguile Nine The Bird. Before long, catabolic birds' life style results in retribution from nature, which brings a disaster to the whole avian. In order to rescue the world, Phoenix gets reborn by herself on the burning fire so as to obtain sublimation. What she has done really moves Nine The Bird and regains his love.
