China Nanshan Longevity Cultural Festival

This event is held by Mount Nanshan once every two years, featuring large-scale culture & art performance, seminar on social science and culture of senior people, inviting contest for senior painting and calligraphy, mountain climbing games for senior people and other theme activities. Now this event has become a remarkable brand name for tourists throughout the country, enjoying profound influence worldwide.

The fifth longevity Nanshan Cultural Festival will be held on October 19 (Lunar calendar September 9th) - October 22 (Lunar calendar September 12) ,2007 in the Nanshan Cultural Tourism. Since 1999 Nanshan had beeb held the first "China Nanshan longevity Cultural Festival", a longevity cultural activities continued development .During the past eight years there has been held four times "longevity Nanshan Cultural Festival", three times "longevity culture week " and a "culture of longevity Expo," and now it has become one of the important festivals of Hainan festivals.

In this longevity Cultural Festival will be held " 2007 Nanshan longevity Cultural Festival Open & 100 Hainan 100 years old man selection and award, and the Chong yang Festival for the elder of local island will be free to enter Nanshan etc.
