Wonderful View of the Mountain and Sea
In the period of Chunyou in Song Dynasty (1247 A.D.), Mao Kui, a magistrate, took his subordinates to inspect the Mountain Turtle and found a huge rock resembling a house from one angle and a ship from another. The rock overlooks the sea and has crooked path behind. Standing on top of the rock, one can cover the vista of the mountain and the South Sea . Therefore he inscribed on the rock "Wonderful View of the Mountain and Sea".
